We help women and children escape prostitution, pornography, and sex trafficking and build a fulfilling life.
We help women out of prostitution, pornography and trafficking for sexual purposes and into a functioning life.

Talita offers support and assistance to women and children who have been exploited in the sex trade. We carry out preventive, outreach, and rehabilitation work, both in Sweden and abroad.
Our preventive work aims to prevent young girls from becoming involved in prostitution and pornography. Our outreach work involves seeking out individuals in the settings where prostitution takes place and offering them support. Our rehabilitation work enables women to leave the sex trade and become fully integrated into society. In Sweden, Talita operates a shelter with rehabilitation services in Stockholm (Villa Talita and Lilla) as well as a counseling center.
In our presentation video, you can listen to women sharing their stories and Talita's founders describing how the work started and what we do today.
Talita’s operations in Sweden and abroad depend entirely on the donations we receive from individuals, companies, and foundations. We receive operational support from the City of Stockholm, among others, but the funds we receive from the state and the municipality account for only a small portion of our total needs. Your donations make a huge difference!

"I have seen the difference between women who have not received and those who have received rehabilitation and support from Talita. I have seen how this support has been life-changing on many levels. The staff at Talita really struggle to get these women back on their feet and they succeed."
"Talita is amazing! They are more flexible than an elite gymnast and yoga instructor combined!"

"For me and most of my clients, Talita is a happy place where they can find themselves, get the trauma treatment they need and be treated humanely and professionally. For them, it has simply been life-changing that they came to Talita. I am extremely grateful that they exist"
